Absolut Style...

Just had to let you know about this stylish three day spectacular called Absolute Style @ Set... Tis being organised by the wonderful Blanaid Hennessey of Blanaid.com (so you know it's gonna be good!) It is a vintage fashion, film and furniture fair for Langton's House Hotel. It's on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of April.

Friday is a movie day with films like "Breakfast at Tiffanys" and "The September Issue" being shown from 2pm til 12am.

Saturday and Sunday are dedicated "Style at Set," with beauty, fashion and furniture areas, style talks from brilliant stylists such as TV3's Laura Cunningham and the Irish Examiner's Annmarie O'Connor, areas such as the "Gosh" cosmetics makeup room ( all that colour!), the "Kerastase" hair salon, a food fair in the courtyard, and more. I've been told there will also be goody bags! Dying to know what's inside those bad boys!

If that ain't enough for you they are also hosting two fantastic nights out! Saturday night is "The Stylebitches Night Out," the Stylebitches will be djing, and there'll be a 'demented' dress (already figuring out what I'm gonna wear!), alcoholic cupcakes, cocktails and so much more... Sunday night is "Soul Kitchen" with a lovely retro feel to the night, make up artists in the bathrooms and soulful sounds. Feeling very Bohemian!

Tickets are available from Langtons from next Tuesday and I believe on their website www.set.ie or call Langtons on 056 7765133...
If you are a new designer or own a vintage clothes shop (or anything of that nature) head to Blanaids blog and let her know, she may want you!

Hope you'll all come! I know I'm going!
