Pastel black shades...

Grrr... this weather is so uninspiring! One day out of the week I whip out some floaty dress and wedges (like Monday) and enjoy the weather, even at night. The rest of the week I am in trousers and jeans. This is very depressing considering it is the middle of June and I own a lot of floaty dresses, especially when I cannot afford to travel far away to some hot destination... sigh. They say July and August are meant to be awesome and hot as hell. I live in hope.

I was supposed to go to the Beauty Spot last night but my friend couldn't make so I just popped to the cinema with my fella instead. A lovely alternative! This is what I wore yesterday, I had to go to something with my parents that required being a little fancy. A great excuse to wear one of my favourite pairs of shoes! These get a lot of comments and I am not surprised, they are so very unique and oh so pretty.

It looks like I am wearing a jumpsuit but it is actually a top and trousers. I love these trousers, I wasn't expecting the shape to suit me but I think I look decent enough. And that cardigan is donkeys years old, had since I was about fourteen years old or so.

Quick mention of the earrings, beautiful! A gift from my fella a couple of years ago when he was in France. He told me they were from a night market in Vichy (very cool.) I rarely get to wear them because I feel they are too elegant for regular use. I love them.
