Graphic Exchange...

I was recommended a blog by a lecturer to help with my research and it is such a beautiful site... It is called Graphic Exchange. It is full of different designs, imagery, type and packaging... If you have any interest in graphic design or photography have a look at this site. Well worth it!

Plated jeans... a suit of armour

Acne decided to join forces with a German-born designer Husam El Odeh. This London based designer is a metal-smith and has added sterling silver plates to Acne's latest denim wear.

I have a love/hate relationship with these pieces. First of all, I really dislike the white pair, for me the just don't work. The other jeans seem interesting and would work so well for that glam warrior look. But are they comfortable? Practical? How do you wash them? I think they look very cool, but I don't think they'd work in the real world.

Now when it comes to the jacket my opinion changes. I really like this jacket. I think the silver plates look well on this piece, they make sense there. And they seem practical enough compared to the jeans. What do you think?

Bourjois? Bonjour!

Thanks to my gran slipping me a sneaky tenner, I purchased this gorgeous eyeshadow by Bourjois. It is called 07 Noir Emeraude, so basically it's green, dark green, beautiful. I have to admit I have been crushing on this colour for awhile now. I have been goggling at it every time I go get photos developed for college. And now it is mine! Whoop whoop and so on...

The colour looks great when its applied heavily, I tried using a little and it just looks dirty and is more black than green. But I have no problem piling it on (I am a sucker for exaggerated disco eyes). This colour green on your eyes, slight beehive hair, jewels dangling from your ears and lashings of mascara... Oooh doesn't it sound wonderful (where's my martini darling?).

Kiss from the coral sun, tell no one...

I mentioned before that I had been searching for a decent coral lip stick and I have finally found one... Tis from the new Rimmel collection that the striking Georgia May Jagger is modeling... This particular colour is called Tell No One and I love it! It is my new day lippy so don't be surprised if you see me wearing it in all my outfit pics! It is matte and quite waxy and stays on very well. It is also such a subtle coral so in a weird way looks quite natural on (I think anyway...).

I'm becoming quite the lippy whore (he he). I'm just loving lip stick so much and I just can't get enough of all the colours that are available... Next on my list is a matte baby pink for that summer punk-ish look or maybe a good sheer nude for a lazy chicness.... Or maybe both.... Will be on the look out.

Purchase 2

Forgive the appauling photo of mise. So purchase number two is this absolutely divine lipstick from MAC. It is called Cyber and is to die for. I made a post about wanting a colour like this and I took the plunge and bought myself some... It is so silly I know but I feel very daring when I wear it. Bought on Ebay for a tenner (including postage and packaging). There was some woman who had shop (on Ebay) selling cosmetics so I gave it a shot. I know most people would be iffy about buying make up on Ebay but it came in the MAC box and wasn't used at all. Also a wonderful thing about this lippy is that it smells of chocolate! I don't know why, I read the ingredients and nothing looked cocoa related... In the photo it looks more red but it is quite purple-ish! Not something I would wear all the time but certainly gonna be brought out when I need a show stopping look! Let me know what you think...
