I don't know if you guys know this but I have been having a predicament when it comes to my lipstick. I pretty much wanted a lipstick that was the closest colour I could get to my own lips while still being a bit coral-y. I wanted to have a fresh lipped look without it being too colourful. Something I could wear everyday and be easy to maintain, something that would be fresh and pretty. I have no problem with amazing, vibrant colours on a night our special occasion but at work it's just too much hassle to keep it topped up. I also wanted it to be quite moisturising. I don't want my lips cracking with it, which does happen with other lipsticks.
So on Saturday I found this lipstick. Soft coral (#600) from the Rimmel Moisture Range. It has a peachy/coral colour to it, shockingly close to my normal lip colour and is very easy to apply. My only problem with it is that it's quite shimmery... not in a nasty way but I usually like matte lipsticks. But it is definitely something that I can live with. It adds a hint of shine to my lips and keeps them looking full of life without going over board. It's like springtime on my lips... What a lovely idea!
I don't think I'm going to get any better, but it's early days yet...

365...
I've read about 365 projects before... Some were pretty spectacular to be honest. And for awhile I felt that I hadn't the time to really do one, one that was good. But I've been thinking about it and I think I'm going to try and do one. A real one, something that will help me develop a skill I hold dear. That skill is photography ladies and genrlemen. I like to think that I am good at photography. That I can hold my own and deliver decent shots. But I never really give myself the opportunity to really experiment, and I think I need to.
So this year I hope to take a photograph of something that I see (and thought would make a nice picture) everyday. Whether I'm at work or out hiking, shopping or even chillin' on the couch. And I hope to post on a Monday the seven shots each week for your viewing pleasure, and of course to help me keep on track. It'll be tricky to find new things and new ways to photograph but I look forward to the challenge. To photograph people, places, things... And it will also be a great way to document my year and encourage me to do new things. I really am dying to get started!
Anyone else going to try out a 365 project for 2013?
